Let's face it. We're all used to seeing well toned women. Women with a low level of bodyfat and showing some good abs and quality toned buns, however, when it comes to true competition bodybuilding, can women achieve this overly dense muscled look without the use of prescription only male hormones?
Honestly, the answer is no. As a women you can certainly build an amazing, healthy, lean and toned, strong physique. You will certainly be able to develop great strength, great endurance and muscular tone. However, without the abundance of testosterone produced naturally by the male, the female bodybuilder would always be carrying a little more bodyfat, a little less muscle density and a softer look to the physique. It is just how it is and it is natural.
Female bodybuilding is a real art form. It's a serious skill. And a dedication to supplementation, training and nutrition and diet that is probably more rigorous and challenging than for most men. Because for women to achieve a competition ready bodybuilding physique the ladies have to work ten times harder with more dedication to detail. That's the honest truth.
